HSM – Faster Equipment Construction is a small mod which halves the costs of siege equipment construction, from 6 to 3 points for battering rams (x1) and 10 to 5 points for siege towers (x2), making siege equipment more accessible and common.
Such availability turns besieging a settlement for at least one turn into a more viable strategical option, as it magnifies the reward for choosing to build siege equipment – easier sieges with less casualties. As the player, this change will incentivise you to expand a bit slower, while you will face more organised and dangerous sieges from the AI.
This mod also halves the autresolve strength value of siege equipment, as they are built more easily.
If you’d like to use this mod independently, it is fully operational and works well on its own. I recommend using it alongside the rest of my mods, as they are all being developed in conjunction.

HSM – Faster Equipment Construction is fully compatible with Mixu’s Unlocker and Immortal Empires Expanded, and should be compatible with the Old World mod as well. It affects both the vanilla Immortal Empires and Realms of Chaos campaigns. This mod is save game compatible.
