Herald’s Start Positions – Mod Compilation and a list of its corresponding mods, 7 out of 14 total, have been updated.
The following changes have been made.
HSDM – Golg Maneater change:
– the mod doesn’t change Golg’s start position and diplomacy differently when being used with HSP – Kislev & Norsca anymore, as Azhag returned to his vanilla start position.
Athel Loren changes:
– compatibility optimization for use with Mixu’s Unlocker and IE Expanded; Orion starts at war with Quenelles instead of Parravon when using these mods,
– the settlement of Quenelles now starts owned by the faction of Quenelles when using IEE,
– start position polish in case both Durthu and Orion are controlled by players (multiplayer campaigns) and Mixu’s Unlocker isn’t being used; a separate starting enemy army is created for Orion, while Cassyon starts as the initial enemy army of Durthu.
Drycha in the Forest of Gloom changes:
– compatibility optimization for use with Cataph’s Southern Realms and the upcoming HSP – Skrag in the Mountains of Mourn.
Grom & Eltharion in Ulthuan changes:
– Massif Orcal and Quenelles are now transferred to Skull Crag instead of Red Cloud; Quenelles only if Mixu’s Unlocker isn’t being used, as it introduces the minor faction of Quenelles owning the settlement.
Kislev & Norsca changes:
– compatibility optimization for use with Cataph’s Kraka Drak; Azhag has returned to his vanilla start position, Throgg was moved from Gianthome to Trollheim Mountains, Malakai now starts at the eastern edge of Mountains of Hel (Winter Pyre) and some of his changes happen post first tick;
– Wulfrik has returned to his vanilla start position for future compatibility, he starts at war with Bjornling and Skaeling;
– Clan Volkn changes have been removed, the Rock Skulls have returned to their vanilla start position and were replaced by the Ogre Bloodmaw faction in Norsca, except if the player uses Cataph’s Southern Realms and does not use HSP – Volkmar in the Border Princes, as Cataph’s mod also utilizes this faction;
– Be’lakor’s diplomacy change (war with Bjornling) has been removed;
– Lair of the Troll King (Khazid Bordkarag, Kraka Ravnsvake) and Winter Pyre (Kraka Dorden) have been added to the list of Dwarfen holds for their grudge system and had their campaign settlement models changed to Dwarfen settlements;
– the name of the Lair of the Troll King has been changed to Khazid Bordkarag, except if the player uses Cataph’s Kraka Drak, which changes it to Kraka Ravnsvake;
– Throgg’s landmark from the Lair of the Troll King has been moved to the Tower of Khrakk.
Morghur in Bretonnia change:
– compatibility optimization for use with Cataph’s Southern Realms; Morghur no longer starts at war with Cataph’s Bilbali and Estalia.
Volkmar in the Border Princes changes:
– compatibility optimization for use with Cataph’s Southern Realms; Gashnag and Bloodmaw no longer start with any regions or armies in the Western Border Princes, Gronti Mingol is now a tier 2 settlement;
– if Mixu’s Unlocker is in use; Springs of Eternal Life are now owned by Dune Kingdoms, and they become a starting enemy of Settra.
